Open hands to rest, receive, and respond.
At Open Hands Ministries, we believe there is something powerful that happens when women gather with open hearts and open hands before the Lord.
Together, we come to lay down what we were never meant to carry alone, receive the goodness and guidance God has for us, and respond with willing hearts to wherever He is leading.
Rest
Open Hands to Let Go
Life often leaves us carrying burdens we were never created to carry alone—stress, fears, responsibilities, and the weight of trying to manage what only God can hold. We open our hands to surrender these things to Him, trusting the One who is truly in control. We come to Jesus, rest in His presence, and find peace in His promise.
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
Receive
Open Hands to Receive
As we let go of what we were never meant to carry, our hands become open to receive all that our good Father desires to give us. Through His Word, prayer, worship, and the encouragement of His people, God meets us with exactly what we need—His peace, His direction, His comfort, His joy, and the reminder that we are deeply loved by Him.
“If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask Him!”
Respond
Open Hands to Say Yes
Having rested in His presence and received from His goodness, we are invited to respond. God has uniquely created each of us with different gifts, stories, and callings, yet we are one body under one Lord. Our prayer is that we would have open hands and willing hearts to say, “Hineni—Here I am, Lord.”
“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
Through Bible studies, retreats, gatherings, and times of prayer, Open Hands Ministries exists to create spaces where women can seek God together, encourage one another, and make room for the Holy Spirit to lead.
